It's Halloween 2026, or at least nearly the end of it here in EST. Today was a beautiful fall day and a perfect night for trick-or-treaters, not that there were many out in my neighborhood. I think I saw a group of 3.

Now I'm going to kick back and maybe watch some Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episodes before bed. I carved a pumpkin, albeit just now and not early enough to leave out, and ate a bunch of the candy I'd bought for the non-existent trick-or-treaters.

I'll probably leave my decorations up for a while, and probably carve the other pumpkins I have over the next few days as well. I had some stuff come up, like the installation of a new furnace, which sort of inhibited my Halloween activities this year, but at least now I'm hoping for a peaceful next few weeks.
